R. Mark Lindman, DDS, MS
Dr. Lindman is a native of Rockford and a graduate of Guilford High School. His pre-professional education was undertaken at North Park College in Chicago, with a double major in natural science and art. Dr. Lindman received his professional degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1985, at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. His graduate training in periodontics was completed in 1987 at Northwestern University College of Dentistry, where he received a Certificate Degree in Periodontics, and a Master of Science Degree. While at Northwestern, Dr. Lindman was actively involved in clinical research studying different pain control and sedation techniques in periodontics. Dr. Lindman has also received graduate training in laser surgical techniques, the placement of dental implants, and advanced bone grafting techniques. He has been placing dental implants since 1985 and has lectured extensively on the subject. Professional associations include: American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, Midwest Society of Periodontics, Illinois Society of Periodontics and Winnebago County Dental Society.
