SimPlant™ is a line of implant dentistry tools used at Periodontics of Rockford. The SimPlant™ CAD/CAM system uses the precise imagery of the cone beam 3-D imagery to fashion custom-made surgical drill guides to ensure that the dental implants are placed in the best possible position. This helps the surgeon visualize a patient's anatomy and plan and place implants with a high level of confidence. Although SimPlant™ is not used for all implant cases; your doctor may use this technology for your specific needs.
